The state continues to bleed us dry with this double taxation and I refuse to let the legislature ignore us any longer. I am currently reaching out to local representatives to force a conversation about why they keep picking our pockets for vehicles we already paid taxes on. Do not let them get comfortable in their greed.

The state government ignores us while they keep lining their pockets with our money every single year. This wave of support shows that Missourians are finally done with being robbed for things we already own.

personal property taxes need to go. Its un American and put a burden on low income families.
It is an unjustifiable tax that needs to be abolished. I lived in St Charles for 3 months and received a bill for the full 12 months. This is totally unconstitutional by any standard.
It’s not right to have to pay for something that I already payed for. My house and truck shouldn't be a lifelong burden draining what little finances I have
Today is independence day, our freedom from the British Crown. It seems to me that King George was less of a tyrant then the governor and state legistrators of Missouri. The tea tax was nothing compared to the Missouri personal property tax.
In a state where public transportation is limited and you have to drive placing another burden on people financially is so disrespectful to the people of this state. Not to mention the tax in and of itself is unconstitutional!
Please end this annual tax. It's hard enough paying the initial tax but having to come up with it year after year is absurd.
It is unconstitutional and needs to go!

Double Taxation...We paid the tax on our vehicle in full when purchased our vehicle and we got our license plates in Missouri
