For years now I have disagreed with Missouri's Tax on personal property. I can understand paying property tax but not on personal property. This tax as most of you know is a tax that must be paid on a yearly basis. This is of course after the initial sales tax which was paid at the time of purchase. This is a Tax that has added additional weight to the individual taxpayer and our area businesses. This is unconstitutional and must not be permitted to continue. We Missourians need to crack down on public spending, and this is the first step in creating a lighter burden on us the Taxpayers.
