Alt Valley Community Trust is applying for the Veolia Environmental Trust for grant support to make essential repairs to Walton Sports Centre's roof. The centre is a fantastic resource for the local community, but unfortunately, the centre now requires essential repairs to prevent any further deterioration of facilities.

The roof is failing and we are documenting the damage daily. Every signature here helps prove this center is worth saving.

As a member of staff at Walton Sports Centre it would be paramount that this issue is fixed to keep everyone happy and safe.
Amazing centre with amazing staff. Staff do much more than just classes. They do charity events, they make time to speak privately if you need advice or support, through this Covid 19, they are all doing free classes online every day. The community would be lost if the centre had to close because of the roof & any other repairs.
There’s so many positives this centre brings to the community, with damages happening it’s another reason for people to avoid coming and being active whilst becoming physically and mentally healthier as well as giving our youth a chance to get in off the streets
I use this centre all the time. It’s the heart of the community. The staff do their best to keep the centre running but essential work needs doing
Recently worked on the adjoining building decorating the changing area's in the county F.A and I noticed how busy the sports centre was would be ideal to get the work done and keep the place ticking over
Save wally sportys
This centre is a great community resource for the district of Walton and surrounding areas.

Walton park sports centre is the heart of our community. The staff are amazing and everyone who goes there are like one big family. So many classes and kids clubs keeping everyone not only physically fit but mentally too. The staff go above and beyond always .
