I turned 40 in April. I was sad. As I am Apple mad, my family and friends - from all over the world - gave me the money to buy the Apple Watch I really, really want. It's the 42mm Space Black Stainless Steel Case with Space Black Link Bracelet. This is E1,200. I know, you might think that's crazy but it's what I really want and it matters to me because it's from everyone. My one and only present that marks my 40th is a watch that all of the people I care about bought for me. Here's the thing, Apple happily took all of the money, of course, in the form of gift cards and now won't let me buy the watch. Why? Because I live in the Republic of Ireland. How can this be fair? Their customer support team have been really understanding but can't do anything for me. All I want to do is buy my watch using my money and Apple - the big bullies - won't let me. Please sign this petition and help to stop this injustice! I only want to buy a bloody watch with my own money for god sake!
As a person who work in retail. I find the best course of action is to go into the shop and shout very loudly at your discussed and their discrimination. Demand to speak with a manager and make a big fuss. They won't want you causing a scene. You have give cards they take in store and online. They will have to pull their finger out
