As a person who work in retail. I find the best course of action is to go into the shop and shout very loudly at your discussed and their discrimination.
Demand to speak with a manager and make a big fuss.
They won't want you causing a scene. You have give cards they take in store and online. They will have to pull their finger out

Apple, I am appalled. I bought this man, my brother in law an apple voucher to put towards the apple watch he wanted. You have stolen my money as the voucher I gave him can't be used for his watch. This is criminal, disgraceful and an outrage.
