Proposals for a new supermarket (yep another one!) with the aim of closing down and moving into Fairwater Rugby Club are already well under way. If these rich and powerful corporations from across the border succeed it won't just mean the end of the rugby club but will surely sound the death knell for the shopkeepers and small community businesses that have been the bustling mainstay of the area since we were all just scuff kneed kids.
