I am honestly overwhelmed by how many of you care about our local shelter. If we can reach that hundred mark soon it would mean so much when we talk to the county officials. This momentum belongs entirely to the people who took the time to sign.

People in Harlan can't even adopt a dog from Harlan Animal Shelter lol that's funny.
It is not fair to us, Harlan Co. citizens, to not be able to adopt our own dogs from here.
I tried to get a dog last week and they told me it was spoken for by someone from out of town. This is our tax money paying for this place it should be for us first.
FIX THIS.
Ridiculous that you have to jump through hoops just to save a animal in your own hometown.

Why have a animal shelter when you can't look at or adopt the animals till the weekend because of the prisoners. I think we should have should have first choice.
