The momentum behind this petition highlights the urgent need for oversight at the Cocke County Animal Shelter. This level of public engagement confirms that our community will no longer accept the current conditions. We are now preparing to present these concerns directly to the local authorities.

All who saw and did nothing are accountable... People can plainly see what malnourished animals look like. Clean out needs to start from the top.
I mean just look at this poor baby, these fur babies can't speak for themselves! Makes me sad and mad
Management and the full staff at the Newport animal shelter need to be replaced by competent caring people.
This is absolutely heartbreaking and I personally would volunteer to help these poor animals.
What I have been seeing and hearing about what is happening there is sickening. All those responsible should be arrested and made examples of!! Animals are at our mercy and deserve to be loved and talen care of. Changes must come immediately!!
this is horrific abuse. no excuses. no exceptions. no discrimination. we r their only hope and voice. all animal lives matter. this must be stopped immed. swp. I'm

they need to get new people to run , that woman worked there and seen what was happening and done nothing
