Ava Blackmore has been refused a spot at Highgate next year (2019) despite the fact her Mum Amy Blackmore is one of the most incredible, highly respected and sort after teachers there. We must overturn this atrocious decision. Hopefully with the support of the parents signing this petition we can get Ava in next ywar and Amy will stay and continue teaching our kids.
I have been lucky enough to have Amy teach all 3 of my children, she is a outstanding teacher and has been incredibly dedicated to Highgate School. Please reconsider the decision to not let Amy's daughter Ava attend Highgate School next year, it would be a huge loss for the school if Amy was forced to look for work elsewhere.

Amy is a fantastic teacher who knows how to encourage each child to develop a love for learning. In addition, she has shown loyalty to Highgate PS by being a long term teacher (9 years) and temporarily stepping into the assistant principal role when they needed her to. Highgate should reciprocate such loyalty and allow Ava to attend the school next year.

Highgate school has always been a caring and family oriantated school. Amy organised her family so that she could continue to be the dedicated teacher she.is Her enrolling of Ava at a near by kindy which feeds Highgate School was not done lightly -she was told that Ava has been accepted at Highgate School for 2019.

Please reconsider - this would be a very disappointing outcome if Amy's daughter is not accepted into Highgate. Amy is the most incredible, giving, dedicated teacher- my daughter has been so lucky to have her! Teachers give so much to our children - it's only fair they get the opportunity to decide where their children attend school!

Amy is a leader amongst the teaching staff at Highgate School, it would be a great loss to our future learners to see her go. Please reconsider.

What a huge loss it would be for the Highgate community if Amy were to leave. We would never had made it through reception without her care and support. Let’s hope this decision is overturned ASAP

I don’t understand why teachers don’t get priority. In many other schools this is the case. She has been an amazing teacher for my daughter who absolutely adores her and whom she has challenged in all the right ways.

I really hope this decision is overturned as Amy is a fabulous teacher who is so well respected at Highgate. It’s such a shame that Eva was declined a position.
