The Recording Academy has officially approved the new categories for commercials and I am truly stunned. None of this would have happened if you had not lent your focus to this cause. We have the result we wanted so please take a moment to celebrate this success.

I would also like to suggest the creation of Grammy categories for albums NOT released in the United States, including but not limited to Best Foreign Language Album and Song, and a special honorary Grammy Award for Artistic Achievement, which could be awarded to one artist, group, producer, or composer who excels in musical creativity regardless of native territory.
totally agree. composers are writing masterpieces for 30 second spots and getting zero recognition for it.
long overdue. the production quality in advertising music nowadays is insane.
Commercial music takes just as much work as movie scores. Give these artists the credit they deserve already.
YES. Some of the best songs I hear lately are in commercials. Why isnt this a category yet ???
