The tenants of Amli Uptown in Denver, Colorado, are frustrated and displeased to learn that the pool will be closing for the season. For many of us, the heated, year-round pool was, and remains, one of the building's biggest selling points.
Denver has beautiful weather year round. Furthermore, we pay premium rents to live in a luxury building with high-end amenities. We find it unacceptable for management to close the pool with such short notice this early in the season.
You noted in several email responses to tenants complaining about the closure that part of the reasoning was due to not enough usage of the pool in the winter. The signatories of this petition disagree.
We respectfully request that you reconsider closing the pool.

I honestly did not think this many people would actually feel the same way about the pool situation but looking at the list grow is making me realize how many of us are just frustrated by these random changes. It is wild to see the momentum building like this when I was just typing it up in a fit of annoyance at my desk last week.

The year round pool was the biggest reason we signed for this property. We’re paying for “luxury amenities” yet not receiving that quality when you close down the biggest selling point. We previously lived at AMLI Lone Tree and used the pool every weekend in the wintertime. We would not have signed here and would have gone elsewhere if we knew this was the situation. I'm extremely disappointed with how the pool will now be closing so early in the season. Denver has many good months of weather left for a heated pool and many of us were sold on a year-round pool when we toured the place. On top of this news, the way it was communicated -- hidden in a general update email -- is especially deceptive and destroys community trust.
What are we paying all this money for!!!

The main reason why I chose this apartment over a beautiful rino apartment was because the pool was open year round. A pool closure will be extremely disappointing given the price of rent.

Been a resident here since the property first opened over 2.5 years ago. Very frustrating they are trying to close this amenity, when we have never had it close previously.
