This petition is to support MFA/BOA in changing of the name of the music caption award at Grand Nationals Finals to the "Heather Christensen Music Award" to represent and honor her bravery and courage in making the ultimate sacrifice to protect the lives of her students. We believe that someone who makes this type of sacrifice should be honored in a way that reflects her passion and dedication to not only marching band, but the teaching profession and ensuring the continuation of other's learning and developing as musicians. It would be a great honor to sign my name to this petition.
