For 26 years, Debbie dedicated her heart, time, and talents to the Natomas Unified School District. Her kindness, professionalism, and unwavering commitment have left a lasting impact on colleagues, students, and the community alike. We believe her legacy deserves to be recognized in a permanent way.

We respectfully request that Natomas Unified School District allow a commemorative plaque to be displayed at American Lakes Elementary and Natomas High School. These plaques would honor Debbie and her many years of devoted service, ensuring her contributions are remembered for generations to come.

This is not only about honoring one person—it is about celebrating the values of dedication, compassion, and loyalty that Debbie represents. A plaque would serve as an inspiration to current and future employees, reminding them of the difference one person can make.

Please add your name to show your support for this tribute and to help ensure that Natomas Unified School District approves this lasting recognition for Debbie.

Mrs. Diggs was such a wonderful part of my learning at American Lakes. She was so patient and loving. I was lucky to have her as a part of my childhood for so long.

The majority of my early elementary memories have Debbie Diggs in them - she was our classroom aide and my Girl Scout leader, in addition to a dear friend of our family. Her dedication to the children of Natomas began with her own wonderful family and extended to the entire community. So thankful for her joy and warmth while I was growing up.

Debbie was always a smiling face to students. I was a student at her school back in the late 80’s and will always remember her fondly.

Mrs. Diggs was a shining light in my childhood. I loved having her as my computer teacher and my Girl Scout troop leader. She had the best laugh and gave her all to us! Her love and dedication was felt by so many and she will always remain in my heart.

Mrs. Diggs was such a huge part of my childhood at American Lakes. She always had a smile for everyone no matter how busy she was. A plaque is the least this district can do to honor her legacy.
