We believe that the American flag needs to be flown in the corner next to the Mund College Center. There are 2 LVC flags, a special interest flag, and the Pennsylvania flag. However, the American flag is absent. LVC needs to take the honorable responsibility and fly the American flag. The United States flag represents every American. It is a symbol of unity for the entire country. The educational opportunities available at LVC are only made possible by the liberties and security that our nation provides.
The American Flag should be flown higher than lesser flags. If the flags are displayed on the same level, the American Flag should be flown to the (flag’s own) right of all other flags. The right is a position of prominence.

I think the American flag is a sign of freedom. It shows our respect to those who have fought and continue to fight for our rights.
This flag represents our freedoms and unity of Americans. It is disheartening that this flag was removed from the social quad.
The American Flag should be the FIRST flag flown. Without America, there would be no other possibility of any other flags flying. The end.
I’m surprised that a petition is needed for this but I’m happy to sign. With family serving overseas it’s important to remember their service and sacrifice and to honor our country.
I walk the campus every day..... always wondered why that was ...... thank you for doing this.
There are already multiple American flags on campus. The most prominent are the ones at the entrance gates off of 934 and 422. Another prominent one can be found at Arnold field. I frankly do not see the point of this petition and therefore will not be signing it.
Funny how there are literally more American flags on this campus than any other else. Yeah, we get it "The United States flag represents every American. It is a symbol of unity for the entire country," but did you ever for a second think that if this was our actual reality that there wouldn't be a need for other flags. The fact that you even called it a lesser flag shows just that, who would want to be unified with people who look down upon them.
