This is to get the law banning children under 14 years of age from being able to ride atv's in the state of Massachusetts. Furthermore, the law also requires riders ages 14-16 to ride a 90cc atv! I believe if we all work together we can get this law rewritten to have age to engine cc's instead of a complete ban. I also strong suggest the rider atv safety course for all new rider's, but especially for youth riders that are just getting involved in the sport.
We are approaching the 250 signature threshold which I need to present as a formal exhibit to the legislative committee. Please direct your contacts to the campaign page today so we can finalize this document for delivery.

My son who's 14 is 5ft 6 inches how is it safe for him to ride a 90cc when his knees are over and past the handle bars.

My 11 year old daughter has been driving an Indy 440 for years!! She got her first 4 wheeler at 4 years old and has been riding ever since. I wouldn't be opposed to requiring the children to take a safety course...but not riding at all is crazy.

banning the right of children under the age of 16 is unjust and unfair! CC limits I can agree with saying 16 years and under should only be allowed to ride 250cc and under

my son has been riding since he was 4 on an age appropriate machine, supervised , and with every price of safety equipment available. He's now 9 and can no longer ride his quad? This bill needs to be amended now. To punish everyone because of the carelessness of a few is wrong.

I have been helping run racing events for 25 years. It's a family sport. I myself used to race and my grandson has raced since he was four. We travel all over the country as a family. We know Where out kids are, we are having fun not out doing drugs and getting in trouble. You can get killed playing football as one of my friends did. Time to change this law!

it should be based on child size, weight and knowledge of the machine that determines how many cc's.
