My 14yo is 6ft tall. How safe do you think he would be on a 90cc quad??

My son who's 14 is 5ft 6 inches how is it safe for him to ride a 90cc when his knees are over and past the handle bars.

The laws that are currently on the books were written as a knee jerk reaction to several accidents that happened involving UNSUPERVISED children operating atv's. This law is almost identical to a law that Connecticut changed because it caused more problems than it fixed. This law creates unsafe conditions for teenagers who don't understand the respect that atv's command, and they get hurt showing off.

They are making this law to strict. So you expect to have a 16 year old kid on a 90cc bike that's crazy.

the law should be changed so kids can learn how to correctly opperate these vehicals at a young age, rather than waiting till they are 16, and have a job, and go out and buy something super fast, show off and get killed all because they had no learning experience as a child. anyone can learn at any age. personally when i was 5 and i rode dirtbikes i knew how hard to push the throttle because i was scared to go to fast. i have had friends when i was 15 that went out and bought a brand new dirtbike or atv in this situation, and crashed so hard i thought they were dead. i feel if kids were allowed to ride atvs there would be less deaths in this activity. it should definitely be regulated but nonetheless legal. i stand very strong to this opinion.
