Should a ballpark be the main focus of the $32 million dollar MPEV?

Or do you think Amarillo deserves options?

Amarillo is more than a ballpark, and a ballpark should not be the only focus of the MPEV.

Enough with the downtown boondoggle. We have crumbling streets that actually need the cash. Why do they think we want another project for out of town developers?

KEEP AMARILLO LOCAL. We need a real plan not just some expensive field that half the town wont even use. Stop spending my tax dollars without asking us first.

I'm glad to see someone is for the taxpayers in Amarillo. It seems there's a lot of effort and money behind those who wish to benefit directly, or in their mind indirectly, from downtown. Should we not ask who taxpayer money is going to? If it was all private funding, that's one things. Public money, should be public's knowledge. This isn't Washington D.C. is it? At least not yet.
