Hello! My name is Alyssa Conley and I am a freshman that is interested in being a part of the Student Senate here at IWU! I think I would be a great senator for many reasons. First of all, I love this community, and I want to make an impact wherever I can. I am from Bloomington/Normal, and I am so thrilled to now be a part of the IWU community as well. I want to make a difference at IWU and most of all, bring people joy. I am currently studying Entrepreneurship here at Wesleyan in hopes of owning my own business one day. I think that this would be a great aspect for me as a senator, as I love to be organized, talk to others, and work hard for the things I believe in. Also, I enjoy making connections with others. I will pretty much talk to anyone, and I am loving getting to know everyone and their stories on campus! However, most importantly, I want to advocate for issues that are important to me and my classmates. It is crucial that we make changes in our society today so that the world becomes a better place, one generation at a time. I believe that we can start this change with our community at IWU. I hope that you will consider me as a senator and sign this petition!
