I was walking past the empty asphalt lot again and just picturing the ramps there makes me so impatient because these kids have been waiting forever for a spot of their own. My inbox is full of messages from parents saying their kids are forced to skate in the road which is honestly so dangerous and keeps me up at night worrying about them.

Seeing this momentum build up feels totally surreal considering how quiet things were when I first hit publish on this page. It really makes me think back to those first few people who clicked sign when it was just an idea because they actually believed we could get the kids a safe place to ride.

My son loves his board but he has to travel all the way to morpeth to find a decent spot. So unfair.
ALNWICK NEEDS THIS! Keep the kids active and off the streets.
About time. Its either this or they end up damaging property because they have nowhere else to hang out.
The kids are constantly getting moved on by the police for skating in the market square. Give them a proper place to go already.
Please build this park! The local teenagers deserve a safe area to practice their tricks.
