I have been overwhelmed by the messages you are sending me about the importance of being heard during our final ceremony. Your stories reminded me that this is much bigger than one student alone. I am working behind the scenes to ensure that my classmates and I have the opportunity to share our truth on that stage.

We are proud of him for standing up for what is right. Graduation should be about the students not the administration controlling everything.
Total BS. They are scared of what he has to say.
This is totally unfair. Let the man speak. It is his senior year and he earned that spot.
Ridiculous that they are silencing him just because he has a backbone. LET HIM SPEAK.
Arlington high is supposed to teach us to have a voice. This is a bad look for the school admin.

Wow what a joke. You seniors worked hard for 4 years and you deserve to choose your own speaker.
