Shawn L. Burton was wrongfully sentenced to life w/out parole for the1993 jailhouse killing of Seth Floyd. In 2009, another man admitted that he killed Floyd in self-defense. Jailhouse informants have provided affidavits admitting that they lied during the 1993 trial. Burton filed a Post Conviction Relief Act w/ Common Pleas Judge Jo McDaniel. His request was denied. Superior Court remanded the case to Judge

McDaniel for an evidentiary hearing. We are insisting that the District Attorney insure that Shawn Burton's case will be heard!
