I spent so many nights worrying about my own career and my colleagues in for-profit settings but now that uncertainty is gone. This victory belongs to …

Watching the count grow makes me think of all the colleagues I have worked alongside who are stuck in these broken licensing loops. Please send this link to a few coworkers today because we need to hit two hundred and fifty signatures before I present our case to the board.

Seeing the count climb toward one hundred shows that my colleagues are finally tired of this unfair split in our licensing process. Please send this link to your coworkers today so we can reach this milestone before I present our case to the board.

I support the measure. This is definitely discrimination against our profession due to the lack of understanding of what our roles are in the organization. It is pertinent to increase our knowledge base and growth for the betterment of services to our patient population. This growth and knowledge is gained through support and education received in supervision.

This is an absurd discrepancy between clinicians working across different finance based work settings with the exact same education and training within the same profession! This is flat out discrimination AGAINST medical social workers that is Wrong and needs to be CORRECTED! Shameful.

I work for a non profit hospital currently, and did not realize this was an issue. Doesn't make any sense to me!

Becoming a social worker is already hard enough. It’s a difficult career that’s underpaid and under appreciated. I personally had to pay $60/week just to find an LCSW to supervise me. It shouldn’t be this hard for medical social workers.

I'm a MSW II at KP SCL ER. I'd like to obtain clinical supervision to further develop professional skills. However the current supervisor requirements are a complete barrier. I'd hate to think that to become a better SW I have to leave the job I love.
