I am honestly overwhelmed by how many people have connected with this idea. This momentum belongs entirely to the community members who decided that our town deserves better. Thank you for showing me that I am not the only one feeling this way.

Seeing one hundred names on this list has completely caught me off guard. It is surreal to realize that so many people feel just as strongly about our town as I do.

I think not only a curfew but a monitored place to take the kids for the night that ignore the curfew or get picked up a second time.
Hopefully the message is clear to the NT government that the majority of its population are wanting accountability for the antisocial behaviour. This will be the evidence/ justification for them to realise we need a facility that can house & mentor the offenders to show that there is a better way of life.
Something needs to drastically change in our beautiful town before someone dies. There’s already multiple cases of people getting bashed for no reason. Way too much crime with no consequences. I’m so scared to drive in town after dark with my 4 kids for the fear of getting rocks thrown at us or something worse happening. Scary. It’s not the town I remember growing up in.
We want to feel safe when we are out and about at night, specially people working on night or late shift like me. I’m constantly on the look front, back, left & side when I’m driving home from work. My husband is a tour guide and his bus has been damaged twice because kids throw rocks on it, even while all the tourist was inside and they are all terrified.
The town needs to bring back the old youth clubs/drop in centres we had back in the 80's for these kids.

Get these kids off the streets for the good if the town and community and them. Then have some real conversations about why they are on the streets. To me it looks like we have gone from the stolen generation to the abandoned generation. So little said about the distinction of the familys...
