We write this petition to request that you please reconsider your decision to allow Andrea Caughren, NNP, to return to Banner NICU as a practicing NNP. We insist she is NOT allowed to return.
In our past experiences working with Ms. Caughren, she is well-known to be rude, disrespectful, and difficult to work with. She has no regard for the nurses and her peers. She does not collaborate willfully, often ignoring requests and reports of concerning symptoms in the patients. She has brought multiple nurses to tears. She has required mediation between herself and staff due to her aggressive and rude nature and inability to discuss matters calmly. Ms. Caughren is arrogant, and staff does not feel comfortable calling upon her when the patients are in need.

Ms. Caughren is very difficult to work with. Despite the distress the babies would exhibit, Andrea refused to help them. She yells at the nurses for calling her even though it is protocol.
She was and is the most rude, condescending, and inconsiderate, person I’ve ever had the unfortunance to be forced to work with. Can anyone say hostile work environment???
This NNP never listens to what the nurses have to say, does not put the infants health as number one I’m pretty NNP’s sleep is more Important, she is not a Team player, and when she is on shift, there are many things that get missed.

I support this petition because as A team Lead on nights I have been a witness to some of these incidents and don’t feel that Ms. Caughren is a good fit to this NICU.
