I oppose the building of all and any semi-truck stop located in Peotone. “Semi-Truck” defined as a vehicle in any combination of a tractor unit and one or more semi-trailers to carry freight. This includes any area that is to house or retain these vehicles longer than the appropriate amount of time to fuel the vehicle.

I honestly did not think this would gain this much steam but here we are and it really feels like the town is finally waking up to what is happening. It is wild to see so many people who actually care about keeping these massive trucks out of our neighborhood because I thought I was just shouting into the void at first.

I'm for growth, but not a truck stop. Let's try to be proactive and get nicer businesses so they will thrive when the expressway and airport come in. Otherwise we will be Monee. I lived there, I don't for a reason
with prior work at a truck stop ive seen what happens including crime robbery, deug trafficking, prostitution, over doses. the pollution alone can be damaging to health. currently we rent but if peotone becomes a TIF district we might not be able to buy here like we hope.
A truck stop is a horrible idea. The 57 interchange area is already dangerous and does not need additional traffic, let alone semi truck traffic. We have enough gas stations for the people of this town. A truck stop has no benefit for us. We don't need the traffic, pollution, noise, or potential safety issues.
I. Oppose this truck stop ..I don’t think it will bring much that is positive to this small town farming community.to many truck right now.this will get even worse if the airport is built.because it’s cargo..don’t build it!
Lincoln Ave I oppose the truck stop due to decrease of air quality, declining property values and overall reduced way of small town community feel.
WE DONT NEED IT HERE THERE IS A TRUCK STOP IN MONEE THAT IS GOOD ENOUGH!!!!!!!!!!!!
the truck stop is not wanted by most citizens why does the village keep pushing it!

Diesel truck exhaust can cause health problems and can increase the risk of lung cancer and possibly other cancers.
