Per BZA Docket 191-10 the request is to permit an adult retail establishment within a one thousand foot (1,000’) radius of a residential zoning district, residential use, or any habitable unit, any church or religious institution, any school, any playground, any public park, or any area zoned for the aforesaid uses located at 10800 Morrison Road #110, we, the undersigned, strongly oppose this request. The excessive waiver amount of 839’ is unacceptable. This establishment sits in our neighborhood and is not neighborhood friendly. We further conclude if this is permitted, it opens the door for other such establishments or will allow the applicant to expand services.
The committee has not responded to our inquiries yet but we are tracking the status of Docket 191-10 daily. Post this link to your local Facebook groups so our neighbors stay informed about the zoning board meeting. Send a direct email to your council member today to demand they protect our residential zoning.

Moving past this milestone proves that our neighborhood will not accept an adult establishment sitting in our own backyard. Post this link on your Facebook feed and email your council representative today to demand they deny this waiver.

This is a quiet residential area. We have kids walking to school every single day. Keep this garbage out of our neighborhood.

839 feet is way too close. the zoning laws are there for a reason and they need to be followed.

Bad for property values and bad for the community. City council needs to wake up and deny this permit.
