I know many people who are suffering with water damage in their basement and when they contacted insurance company they warned them that there will be premium increase if you make any claims.
This is a city wide problem and city needs to address the issue on priority. We have been facing flooding in the basement and even the backyard.
There must not be any increase in home (and auto) insurance due to these floodings.

Last 15 years Mississauga may have faced many heavy rain or snow falls. But this water coming back insides the home is now an major concern. Some one from city need to look into this matter seriously and solve the issue.
