The undersigned petitioners ask the Hoboken City Council to put in place a comprehensive Storm Water Management Plan, which will cost effectively incentivize the individual residents, business owners, builders and developers of Hoboken to implement local, widespread measures to conserve water, use water efficiently, detain excess storm water and promote the natural infiltration of storm water into the ground and underground aquifers, all of which will aid in the reduction and eventual elimination of the regular occurrences of flooding in Hoboken.
