we finally got the news that the site is coming down. it took a lot of patience to get here but im so relieved we won. thanks for sticking with me while we pushed to get this eyesore cleaned up.

It is the responsibility of the TWBC to get this project moving - they knew it was a very difficult site due railaway tunnel and still let it be sold when they should have bought it for the sake of the town. now they must demand a resolution.
Please do something about this eyesore. Criminal that the landlords have been inactive for 13 years. They should be fined for every day after 10 yrs until they get the site opened. Tunbridge Wells is SUPPOSED to be a des res. they are ruining the town and should be punished.
As B&B owners in the town we get feedback about the appalling eyedore in the middle of our town. Just demolish it and pro tem turn it into a free car park, helping visitors and local people alike while making a decision as to its future. At least this way idetruction will lead to
What are the reasons for development not taking place? This junction is one of the first impressions people get of TW centre whether they arrive by car or train. TW is regarded as one of the most desirable places to live in UK, so no excuses for this derelict building to remain in that state.
An absolute eyesore - how about a purpose built indoor Farmers /Local Produce market (at the crossroad) similar to those you find in French towns. Would sve the stall holders battling the wind and weather. I think this would appeal to TW residents
Not enough leadership - time for our elected representatives to grow some!

The site is depressingly ghastly and has no place in the centre of a beautiful town. The area would be so useful if the buildings were taken down...temporary car parking/enlarged farmers market/open space for residents to enjoy. The list goes on, but the Hammer Horror site remains.
