During "The Challenge ", we surveyed the general public , asking how the local train station's facilities such as south Ealing and Ealing Broadway station can be improved .
We learn about the difficulties of traveling by train for the physically disabled.
The aim of this petition is to improve the facilities in train stations , so it is easily accessible for the physical disabled .
Ealing council are already planning for step free access for the physically disabled in 2018 . That's not good enough .
With this petition, we can persuade the council to improve facilities for example the step free access to platforms and other more accessible ways of entering trains .

I have been spending my afternoons at the stations watching people struggle with stairs and heavy doors. Your stories continue to confirm that waiting for future plans is failing those who need these platforms right now.

Seeing this kind of momentum confirms that I am not the only person tired of waiting for basic accessibility at our stations. It is incredibly moving to see so many of you join this push for the independence our community deserves.

2018 is way too long to wait. People need to get to work and live their lives now.
Try getting a wheelchair onto those trains at Ealing Broadway. It is a total nightmare. SORT IT OUT.
good luck guys hope this actually works because the stairs are impossible with my bad hip let alone a wheelchair
ridiculous that we are still dealing with this in this day and age. accessibility should be a basic right for everyone.
Do it sooner. People are literally stuck at home because the stations are prehistoric.

My nan cant even get to the platforms. She just stops going out now because its too stressful for us to lift her chair.
