We believe it is unfair to be forced to remove our sweaters and jackets during academic week. GLTS Staff is parading during lunch going up to students and obligating them to remove their jackets even if they have no hoodies. There is no negative effect or safety hazard to students wearing sweaters or hoodies during academics. As long as we present our uniforms and show that they are on to those who ask then there should be no problem.

I got in trouble for wearing my Reggie leader sweatshirt. Honestly, I think they should let Reggie leaders wear those shirts because they are still uniform and the school would look good if people came in and saw some students with Reggie leaders shirts on.
It was unnecessary to change the uniform policy. We should be able to wear sweaters and anything we want during academic week. Our education is way more important than if I have a hoodie on to not freeze. The heaters don't even work when I start getting sick is the schools fault.
If the staff didn’t cause such a hassle about uniform, we would’ve been advanced in our shops and academic classes, because of one little thing, we get sent to discipline, getting our time wasted and losing the precious knowledge that we have so much of, and then they want to blame it on us for not recalling what was taught
For the 4 years i was at GLTS i never trusted the heaters in the winter, and yet id still be forced to remove my jacket and or sweater because it wasnt uniform yet it wasnt causing any harm.
Uniforms should not be the top priority that is their main concern. they say we need to have a growth mindset yet theyll take us out of class when we don't have the right sweater on.

I think it's unfair to have to be forced to buy sweaters when some of us don't have the money for that and sometimes the sweaters don't provide the warmth that we want it too.
