We will be submitting an application to the Town Zoning Board soon to approve a Dog Park to be located behind Cornerstone Pool, between the pool building and the Buena Vista Golf Course. It will be about 3/4 of an acre, with double gated entries, and a separate area for small and timid dogs. There will usually be plenty of parking in the pool parking lot, and supplemented by on-street parking along Cornerstone Drive.

The Dog Park will be virtually invisible, except for signage. It is hidden by trees along Cornerstone Drive, and trees will be planted along the fence facing the golf course.

The Dog Park will not cost the taxpayers of West Hartford. The WHDPC will raise the funds needed to build and maintain the park.
