A Million Signatures for Animal Welfare Issues aims to let those in power become aware of the real situation of animal welfare in the Philippines.
Issues on implementation of existing laws; the lack of an AW office or body; the lenient treatment of those who are cruel to animals; the horrendous situations of pounds and other facilities; the dog meat slaughter and puppy mills that are not given any importance by anyone in authority; the need of shelters and sanctuaries of government support; and countless other issues. Equally important are programs for decreasing stray population through spay/neuter events, anti-rabies campaign and responsible pet ownership education.
It is the aim of this signature campaign to show that there are people who care about animals because they are an integral part of our lives and society.

I sign this petition concerning animal cruelty, meat slaughter, puppy mills, poor situations in pounds and other issues. And to push through programs that offers free anti-rabies and spay for street animals. Also basic pet ownership program for pet owners.
It is an honor to speak up for those who cannot. Our animals teach us about ourselves, and they deserve better than puppy mills, being slaughtered for food and various other forms of abuse and cruelty. Make laws to protect them and then enforce them. Thank You
Our animal welfare Law must be amend ... To change for the better treatment of dogs in Pounds being put to sleep this has to stop and i hope there's a free Spay and Neuter program on every Municipality for dogs and cats. Killing is not the solution.
Animals also has their all rights to live and be love in this world. We should let those irresponsible owners and breeders be penalized. Also strict implementation to the animal welfare act. All violation of animal cruelties shall be punished

The situation for animals in the Phil’s is terrible. People must change. Not Dogs. Simple proven animal control municipal laws can make the people of the Philippines feel better and stop the agony. Dog licenses, online sales prohibition, animal abuse law and neuter programs and a SPCA, is what Free love without limits is worth.

I just hope there is a facility like hospitals or clinics 24/7 for dogs and cat at libreng bakuna at vitamins para sakanila hindi lng anti rabis.. Also, maparusahan yung mga taong nananakit ng kahit na anumang hayop aksidente man o sinadya.
