The old Wath-upon-Dearne public swimming baths site was part of bona fide land designated to a lasting community as Recreational Land, intended solely for the purpose of serving the surrounding community to meet leisurely activities.
What is so surprising about this sudden planning application is that it was speedily applied for (3rd time folks) smack bang in the middle of a General election where the means of support from authority and parliamentary representation is diminished and therefore reluctant to say too much in case it might end up becoming a bad career move.

What is the point of this Car Wash? There is one directly across the road at Tesco and within a short mile radius. Plus it will increase levels of traffic and potential accidents.
My views are that this was a public swimming baths so why dnt the public have there say? Absolutely disgusting that they so willingly sell the land for their own gain i say No to building a car wash!!!
