When the new play park was in planning, residents observed that the equipment was inadequate and some recall being advised that the equipment from the existing park would be moved.
We now learn that there is no such plan and that the old equipment may be scrapped or removed. Reasons range from the expense of moving the equipment to it not being in keeping with the look of the new park. This is wasteful.
Comments and objections were not made on the planning application because of an understanding that more equipment was planned.

Meanwhile the new park remains inadequate for our need.
