Throwing away perfectly good play equipment is a total waste! Surely it can be used elsewhere.

Current park is completely inadequate, no where near enough swings for the amount of children that visit the park and what’s up with the sharp brick path??

We love walking around the Waverley lakes, popping in to the parks on our way home before nipping I’m to the pub. It’d be a shame if our family outing weren’t to go a head because the kids couldn’t have fun or we just avoided going that way because the kids don’t have a park to go on

There are schools trying to raise funds and only dream of a park like this and our wonderful estate is just scrapping it! Kids love these and with an ever expanding estate this can just be relocated. Why are resources being wasted like this????

It is outrageous that this play equipment will not be moved to the new park, especially when it is enjoyed more than the new sparse equipment. There is not enough swings at the new park and this would help remedy the issue.... Sort it out Harworth and keep your initial promise to residents.

This equipment is still worthy of use, for a quickly growing estate of young family this equipment could be out to good use at a fractuon of the cost of buying new, or not having enough for everyone at all

At least some of the equipment should be moved, especially where it doesn’t currently exist in the new park, eg: small slide for toddlers and monkey bars.

As a resident of Waverley I can't believe they are even considering scrapping this play equipment.

We don't want our existing play equipment to go to waste, rather we would like to move it to the new playground.

Children need places to play. Physical development is vital to a child's education and wellbeing

Waste of equipment if scrapped. Current park is not adequate enough for the community. Disgusting that a view of the old equipment not being ‘in keeping with the appearance of the new park’ it’s a park for children to learn and have fun on!!!
