The signers of this petition humbly ask that the lawmakers of the great state of Wyoming readdress bill HB0026 or introduce alternative legislation that would allow the operation of Bitcoin companies, as well as other cryptocurrency related companies. The residents of Wyoming have been denied great investment opportunities due to the WYOMING MONEY TRANSFER ACT, which has caused private sector companies that operate in the buying and selling of BITCOIN to cease operations in Wyoming. The HB0026 bill would have allowed that to change, but unfortunately was defeated in vote. Many feel that as more and more interest in BITCOIN occurs, as well as more and more financial systems being designed around the underlying blockchain technology that Bitcoin was created on, that the value will continue to increase. We ask that these issues be readdressed so that the residents of Wyoming are not denied the same opportunities as the rest of the world. Thank you.
