Thanks to all who signed this. The issue in Wyoming now seems to be done as the state government now seems to be embracing Blockchain and crypto and making the state a new haven for the technology. Petition will soon be removed.

Its crazy that we can waste our money on lottery tickets because it pads their coffers but when we want to pad ours it's a whole different story. Very frustrated!!

I feel that I am not given the right to invest in my future and am really upset that I am missing out in crypto currency investments.

Please allow residents to buy sell bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies as this revolutionary technology will change lives similar to that of the industrial revolution and the internet. WY hold wyoming residents back?!

This month we can trade futures in bitcoin on the CME and CBOE. The legitimacy of cryptocurrencies is now indisputable. The state government has no right to inhibit our access to this investment vehicle.

Wyoming is only one of 3 states that prevents its residents from buying crypto currencies. While the opportunities are huge early in the development of crypocurrencies Wyoming is shooting itself in the foot and making it very difficult for its residents to have these opportunities. I’ve seen bitcoins go from $50 when I first became interested in them to well over $6000. Wyoming benefits from the power usage required to mine crypto currencies and could become an ideal place to do so, but this current legislation makes Wyoming inhospitable to this new technology, to the detriment of its own citizens.

Of all the states you'd think a conservative state like Wyoming would be open to free trade.

Basically, all government, fed, state, and local hate freedoms unless it is something they can tax. Many government feel that Cryptocurrencies are threats to them making it harder to track money and transactions. It would force government to live within a budget. As far as Wyoming itself, they are not always about freedom. This is the same state that claims the state government owns the wind. http://www.latimes.com/nation/la-na-sej-wyoming-wind-tax-snap-story.html.
