Currently Jackson Hole Wyoming Department of Health has forbidden the sale of Generation Farms eggs at The Whole Grocer in Jackson as well as all other Teton County Wyoming based grocery stores. Currently the rest of the state allows the sale of farm fresh eggs in Grocery stores. Teton County is currently the only health district choosing to interpret the law differently and disallow these sales. Our product had been available at the Whole Grocer in Jackson for a year and a half, and in that time we have sold close to 2,000 dozen eggs off of their shelves. Please support this petition and help us change the law at the state level to support local egg producers across the region.

Stop the government over-reach- people can decide on their own if they want to buy farm fresh eggs or not.
The statute reads the eggs cannot be "used in" the establishment but these eggs are not being used in the establishment. The consumer knows they are ungraded by the packaging.
This does not help local farmers or the greater food issues we face today such as sustainability and ethics. Let small, local farms suffer the consequences if they produce harmful or undesirable products. Let them thrive if they continuously provide safe, healthy, and delicious food to their community, as is the case here.
Teton county needs to start supporting their local food producers or else these passionate and talented people will go out of business and move away decreasing our already limited local cultural diversity.
For a state that prides itself in having less governmental interference in free trade this sure is a lot of red tape for eggs! People deserve the chance to purchase farm fresh food at local stores willing to support local farmers.
Time for mike dart to resign
