We, the undersigned believe it is in the best interests of our entire community, and region, for the Downtown Core of The Pas to have Fiber Optics internet. Currently, it is offered to Residential, and in very close proximity to our Business area, yet MTS will not offer to the heart of Downtown, which is integral to communications.
We believe MTS needs to address this issue, as effective communications is key to commercial, and community endeavours.

The feedback from local business owners regarding current network limitations has been revealing. I am currently compiling these experiences to present a formal request for improved infrastructure to the regional management team.

The level of engagement this request has generated confirms that our community views reliable connectivity as a fundamental necessity for downtown commercial growth. This momentum provides a strong foundation as we prepare to present our case to the service providers. Thank you for recognizing the importance of this infrastructure upgrade.

I have been asking MTS for this service for over two year with the answer "that technology is not available for your area". I found out this month other businesses on my block HAVE this service. What is going on MTS?
This would be such an asset to businesses, I can't believe we actually have to petition a company to make a change that would garner them more money in the end!
C'mon MTS smarten up!
Just recently started working in the uptown area and our internet service is shoddy at best. MTS - it's 2016!
Needed for all the businesses in our area! Its backwards that we dont have.
It's ridiculous! Only offered to select areas of town. Such an asset for all the businesses and our community. Come on MTS!
This is just poor planing on the big picture....Business need high speed....

I work at a shop downtown that tries to live stream, we are steadily uploading and downloading data for every part of our business. Definitely feasible, can't believe we don't have!
