The issue of common area maintenance in and around Trilogy Glen Ivy has been focused for several years on the community blight and decay of Lake#16, the former water feature adjacent to the community Lake Center. Owned and controlled by the Glen Ivy Golf Course, the lake fell into complete drought and dormancy almost three years ago. The TGMA Board has not been able to effect repairs through the new golf course owner because the board does not hold "declarant rights" to the golf course CC&Rs and without those "rights," no solution will probably happen anytime soon.

I have been hearing from so many of you who are tired of looking at that empty pit where our lake used to be. The silence from the board is frustrating but I am working behind the scenes to force a conversation about these repairs.

Seeing so many of you rally behind this issue confirms I am not the only person heartbroken by the state of our lake. This momentum shows the board that we refuse to let the decay of Lake 16 become our permanent view.

If the problem is due to water drought & related costs- then please consider desert landscaping.
The lakes, should all be either fixed properly or replaced with landscape that matches the aesthetics of Trilogy.
It is a travesty that the lakes have not been maintained and our home values have declined. We were never told that Trilogy did not own the golf course when we bought here and are beyond disappointed in this community.
Sitting by lake 16 was one of my favorite things to do with my dog until the lake dried up. It's such a blighted mark on our community. What a shame!
More than enough time has passed for resolution of this eyesore. I feel sorry for the owners who bought the model homes in good faith that the Lake and water features would always be a part of their views.
Would like an update on when lakes will be repaired..
I agree! Let's start a project to look for solutions to Lake 16.

A special meeting would help discuss how to approach the owners about the repairs. Its to their benefit to solve the problem to bring more golfers to enjoy the course.
