We waited 4 years to be able to enjoy the Grape, and we deserve at least one night a week that it can just be Fairfield University seniors. There are less than 40 days left of our final year here, and there shouldn't be 20 minute long lines just to enter our bar, and 40 minute waits to get a drink. Students from other schools that come to Fairfield Beach litter, loiter, and create destruction both for students and full-time residents at the beach, to the point where SHU student are egging Fairfield student houses. This is our bar, we need a system so that it can be just us.

The stories coming in about the current state of our beach are frustrating and frankly exhausting to read. I am working to get the right people in the room to hear us because your accounts of the destruction prove that this has gone too far. We are not backing down from this.

The amount of people who stepped up proves that we are all feeling the same frustration with how this has been handled. It is exhausting to fight for a simple night to ourselves but this momentum shows we are on the right path.

Literally cant even get to the bar without getting pushed around by kids who dont even go here. Enough is enough.
SHU kids need to stay on their own campus. tired of not being able to get a drink at our own spot senior year.
STAG CARDS ONLY. tired of the overcrowding and the trash left all over the beach.
The grape has been a nightmare lately because of the extra people. let us have our tuesdays back
Too many SHU kids can make HIV go airborne. I also got so overheated I had to leave.

Our house got egged last night because SHU trespassers got angry that we wouldn’t tell them where a certain house was on the point. Good thing they had bad aim...
