The Yaamava Resort and Casino in Southern California has booked Egyptian "comedian" Bassem Youssef to perform at its venue. Bassem Youssef is a notorious anti-Semite -- and he's proud of it. In 2024, an organization called StopAntisemitism.org nominated this anti-Semite, Bassem Youssef, to its list of finalists for the title of "Anti-Semite of the Year," and he actually used his social media accounts to campaign for votes! He wanted to be recognized as the Jew-hater of the year. He didn't win, but he was named "Anti-Semite of the Week" on at least one occasion, a sick "honor" that he considers a significant achievement. If you've seen Bassem Youssef on TV interviews, then you've heard his anti-Semitic and anti-Israel diatribes. You've listened to him voice his support for Hamas after the October 7th attack. Yaamava should think twice about paying an anti-Semite like Bassem Youssef to appear on its property, and if they see enough names on this petition, perhaps that will convince them that they're making a mistake. Supporting racism isn't the best strategy when you're allegedly trying to make your guests feel at home.

Hate is lazy comedy! It takes no thought. It eats the brain. The public deserves better!! Help people feel better about themselves by lifting their spirts up by laughing, not by throwing a minority under the bus. The public deserves better!! It has no place in Entertainment. Don’t put people lives in danger spreading antisemitism by this comedian. Can’t believe I have to sign a petition to spell this out we all need to do better

Antisemetism is unacceptable anywhere it rears it's ugly head even when it hides under the guise of comedy!!! There is nothing funny about the huge rise in Antisemetism since the October 7 massacre where more Jews were murdered in one day since the Holocaust!! This insidious hatred must be stopped!!!

This is not rhetoric without consequences. Israeli families routinely face the devastating possibility of losing their children—barely out of adolescence—to protect their homeland. His statements call for the death of those very young people.
