As individuals deeply concerned about the support of apartheid and genocide, we are moved to action by recent events. In the past 36 days, over 11,000 Palestinians have been killed, half of which were children. This is a tragedy that we cannot ignore.

We are calling for a cancellation of the 50 Cent concert in Bahrain, scheduled to take place on the 23rd of November, at Al Dana Amphitheatre, for two reasons. First is that, as Arab and Muslim country and as human beings, we can’t celebrate music and parties while people in Palestine suffer genocide and ethnic cleansing. Second is that we refuse to support and welcome enablers of such atrocities. Attending and supporting 50 Cent’s concert, we indirectly condone his stance on such grave human rights violations.

Our voices matter. Our actions matter even more. Let's use both to stand against injustice wherever it may be found. We urge you to join us in this cause – sign this petition today and let's send a clear message that we will not support those who back apartheid and genocide.

يحتم علينا الجانب الإنساني بصفتنا أفرادًا من المجتمع البحريني المنصف و المناصر للقضايا الإنسانية في جميع انحاء العالم بشكل عام، و ضد الفصل العنصري والإبادة الجماعية في فلسطين بشكل خاص. حيث تم خلال ال36 يوم الذين مضوا قتل أكثر من 11,000 فلسطيني، حوالي نصفهم من الأطفال، في مجازر متعمدة من العدو الصهيوني في كارثة تتكرر منذ 75 عام.

لذلك فإننا ندعوا إلى إلغاء حفلة فيفتي سنت في البحرين، المقرر إقامته في 23 نوفمبر في مسرح الدان، إحترامًا لأرواح أهلنا في فلسطين، و بسبب دعم الفنان للكيان الصهيوني. من خلال حضور هذه الحفلات، نقوم ضمنًا بالتهاون مع موقفه تجاه انتهاكات حقوق الإنسان الخطيرة.
