We saw that Elephone has released the source code for the P9000, a phone that has the exact processor as our UMi Super, the Mediatek Helio P10 (MT6755). UMidigi claims that it is impossible to release the source code because Mediatek is a closed source company and that it will never release the source code for the Helio P10. If Elephone can do it UMi can do it too, if they really care about their customers.

come on umidigi stop making excuses. if elephone can do it then you have no reason not to. release the kernel source already.

Bought this phone specifically for custom roms pls release the code so we can actually use the device properly !!!
