Today there have been many incidents regarding police brutality. Innocent people are being stripped of their rights because of police officers abusing their power. Often, police officers go to trial for brutality but are let go because of their unfairness in court and lack of evidence. Reaching this level of support honestly feels heavy because it reminds me how many people are hurting from these broken systems. Even when the progress feels slow and the opposition feels immovable, seeing this momentum gives me the resolve to keep pushing forward.
