I am starting this petition as I heard the news today that Buckingham palace will be getting a refurbishment worth almost £370 millions pounds to be paid for by us the British Tax payers ! Now I have nothing against the queen or the royal family , but I think in these tough times , with many children living in poverty in Britain , while our NHS Is at breaking point and everyone else is having to tighten the purse strings, I simply don't see why one of the richest families in the world should have their palace refurbed on us. Let's get enough support for this and make them pay it themselves like the rest of us would have to
