Matt Brown was my coach during my 3 years of philo varsity soccer. He inspired me greatly in passion, perseverance, and a desire to never give up. He was someone who loved his job as a coach and loved the kids he worked with. I strongly recommend this field to be named after Matt.

I fully support this.I knew Matt as a Kroger co-worker and and as a Masonic Lodge Brother.So sad that he left us at such a young age.

My son played soccer for Coach Brown. He was a beloved Coach, teacher, and friend. He deserves this honor. Many young men sheded tears over his passing and hopefully naming the field after Matt will show his young son just how loved his father was.

Matt was a leader on and off field. He was mentor for all the boys and girls at philo.He delegated all his time to help anybody for any reason.He was a major role model for Philo.For the support Philo gives the soccer programs this is away to back.

I think this would be a wonderful tribute to a great man. I have never heard a negative comment about Matt, only good comments. We have Sam Hatfield Stadium, why not for Matt Brown?

My daughter was new to the school last year. Mr . Brown helped my daughter on the first day with her locker and help look for a class..Super nice teacher and very missed. This is a great honor that the soccer field be named after a loving and caring teacher who help all ages .

And more importantly a special young man who I am proud to call a friend.

Matt was the best man I've ever known. A true gentleman.
