This was a great article. We as people should support small business and let our communities thrive. It sounds like the community board is choking the little guy out of business. Not very American to do this. I stand behind all small business. Let's all visit this community board

I do not see why not, would be better to know the location closes at 4 am verses a later time and that it would be more strict and selective at the door.

I feel any business that is is within the letter of the law should be given a chance to operate without being limited by local government.

They deserve the right to be able to support their business and their staff. The people of NYC enjoy their business, makes no sense to blackball them!

21st street is a dead zone at night - in a neighborhood that is changing for the better but still have to deal with the proximity of the largest housing projects in the city, I for one think that having an establishment opened late at night with patrons AND employees on site make the street a whole lot safer.

I live down the street and I noticed that it's really not a big deal if they allowed this upscale place to serve liquor. I recently read about the Barge Bar in Greenpoint, Brooklyn and I could not understand why they can have liquor and one like this is having trouble. Good luck guys!

The streets are safer with the club, which would be empty late at night. Many people walk past it late at night walking home from the subway, and it would be desolate otherwise

I support your establishment. I have been many times and enjoyed the entertainment.

New bars and restaurants are exactly what this neighborhood needs. This should be encouraged.
