The Proposed Estill Industrial Development does not align with the recently completed Puslinch By Design study, which identified areas best suited to accommodate growth in the township to 2051 and beyond. The location falls outside these designated areas and would negatively impact farmland, the environment, and the rural character of the community.
We support responsible growth—development that follows sound planning principles, respects the environment, preserves rural and agricultural lands, and focuses on community needs.
We call on Wellington County and Township of Puslinch Council to reject the Proposed Estill Industrial Development and uphold the planning direction established in Puslinch By Design.

This is simply not the right place for this type of development. Its size, scope, type of industrial activity and 24 trucking operation are not compatible with the surroundings. Direct this developer to the areas suitable for this which were identified in the Puslinch by Design Study. If we are going to allow developers to dictate our future, then why pay thousands of dollars of tax payer money for advice from experts that we will ultimately ignore in the end? Do the right thing and stand up for those that elected you!
Nobody benefits from this but Jim Estill. No MZO in Puslinch!

This is SO wrong in many ways!
As a resident of Concession 4 this would be devastating in so many ways. Thanks for your hard work in making the residents of Puslinch aware of what is happening.
This is an outrageous proposition. It will destroy turtle habitat as well as other endangered wildlife species and species of concern. STOP this insanity. We should be protecting our land and not paving it over with concrete. We don’t want to live in Mississauga!

The Puslinch by Design Study was a comprehensive study suggesting this wasn’t the best location for industrial development - why would this application move forward when the ink on the study is hardly even dry?!?
